Abstract
Blue tooth technology is being exploited for establishing a communication link in a combat vehicle where the normal communication between the two crew stations are separated by a moving turn table. With this wireless arrangement the uncertainty in the existing wire communication through a slip ring is avoided. But in the process of implementing the Blue tooth, the EMI problems likely to be encountered are analyzed in this paper. Also it suggests some EMI hardening plan and FREQUENCY SELECTION process based on available EMI data from the vehicle and a few theoretical calculations. Though it employs low RF power, because of close vicinity of other electronic equipment either way it is an EMI/EMC issue. That is blue tooth transmitter and receiver [as emitter & receptor] respectively.
