Abstract :
This paper addresses method for utilizing a remote storage through USB over IP on the SoD system environment. Toward this goal, a file system expected to be used as a remote storage is generated by a file-backed storage gadget, and it is connected to a USB/IP gadget. Then, the file system is viewed as a USB mass storage device in a virtual machine of host computer. The goal of this paper is to provide a private storage device on demand with a virtual machine running on the SoD system environment.
