Abstract
Computer Aided Instruction (shortened as CAI) is an important component of modern teaching technology whose improvement is an important component of teaching reform in institutes of higher learning. The greatest advantage of CAI is that with the aid of interaction in multimedia computer´s operation and information presented which is rich of characters, graphs, figures, sounds, and images, CAI visually explains abstract theory and concepts to students. How to orderly and scientifically utilize CAI and improve its teaching effect and quality furthest is an important issue to study. This paper fully discusses the current situation of CAI´s application in classroom teaching in institutes of higher learning, and puts forward a series of concrete measures to improve teaching effect and quality of CAI.
