Abstract :
A driver system design of Ultra-large area CCD which is a key part in remote sensing system to be used in space measurement and reconnaissance is designed. How the driver system works is related to the speed and resolution of CCD camera system directly. In this paper, we introduce the inner structure and driver timing of ultra-large area CCD FTF3020M. The special integrated chips such as SAA8103 TDA9991 and TDA9965 are selected to design driver circuits. SAA8103 is selected to generate the driver pulse of the CCD. It combined with the Vertical driver IC TDA9991 to generate vertical driving signal and also connected with the chip 74ACT04 to generate horizontal driving signal. TDA9965 is used for signal pre-processing after analog signal output from CCD. It is proved that the CCD driver system by special integrated chips can output four groups of CCD signals in data output speed of 5 frame/s.
