Abstract :
The paper proposes smoothing adaptive NURBS curve interpolation algorithm, which is based on the forward-looking technology acceleration and jerk constraints, to adaptively adjust feed rate according to the requirements of interpolation accuracy. NURBS curve is divided into curve segments by sharp corners, and by using the corresponding acceleration and 5 paragraphs S deceleration control which acceleration limits, feeding rate of each curve segment is re-planned. So smooth speed transition curve is got to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of NC machining.
