Abstract :
Most previous research is only focus on the actuators placement problem in structures vibration control, however the acting force´s effect direction always has been ignored, obviously, if piezoelectric actuator can effect in a better direction, a better effective result would be taken. The problem of piezoelectric actuators locations and corresponding configuration directions optimization in plate structure for vibration control is considered. Optimal actuator locations and corresponding configuration directions in large plate structures is a formidable task due to the combinatorial nature of the problem. In this paper, the performances of two algorithms are used and compared to determine their effectiveness in solving this design problem. The selected algorithms are SATSP(Simulated Annealing for the TSP) algorithm and HTTSP (Hopfield-Tank for the TSP) algorithm. In addition, in order to achieve better optimization result among variables of vibration response deformation precision,control energy and number of actuators, optimization control algorithm is used. The results show that SATSP can handle the actuator locations and corresponding configuration directions optimization problem better than HTTSP.
