Operating mode of mold city based on supply chain

Various types of mold cities emerged one after the other recently in China. These mold cities actively promoted the development of die & mold industry and regional economy. They provided a broader platform for mold enterprises. The paper, on basis of supply chain theory, presents constructing mold supply chain city (MSCC) based on mold cities, and compares mold cities with mold supply chain city in terms of structures and operating modes. Mold supply chain city is an effective management mode to improve the integrity among mold enterprises and an effective way on playing agglomeration effects. It achieves accurately and efficiently producing mold. The mode has important theoretical value and practical significance to accurately lead and plan the development of mold cities, and has lessons for other industries as well.
