Abstract :
This paper studies the replenishment problem in a single item, multi-supplier environment. A cost optimal model is presented. A comparative analysis with singe supplier model showed the difference in two conditions. An extended model based on model in MTP is proposed when considering the time and production capability constraints in MTO and shows the management issues in organizing MTO supply chain.
