Abstract
Secure optical transmission experiment is demonstrated using a stream cipher by quantum noise. The bit error rates of a 10 Gbit/s signal through 360 km fiber for authentic receiver and eavesdropper are 5Ã10-7 and 0.4 ~0.5.
