  • Abstract
    We report regenerative amplification of 10, 40 and 80 Gb/s return-to-zero (RZ) signals in a columnar quantum dot SOA (CQD-SOA). Self-phase-modulation (SPM) with a red-shifted band-pass filter and limiting amplification are exploited.
