Abstract :
A coherent mixer with double-pass polarization-beam splitters integrated in silica-based PLC is newly developed. It is experimentally confirmed that the developed PLC-chip successfully works in the receiver for 40-Gbit/s dual-polarization quadrature phase-shift keying signal.
