  • Abstract
    We propose normal dispersion polarization-maintaining Erbium doped fibers (EDFs) for short pulse amplification reducing nonlinearity and optimizing chromatic dispersion simultaneously. Evaluations of the EDFs in short pulse amplification are shown.
