Abstract :
Linear and nonlinear characteristics of devices using millimeter-scale spools of highly-nonlinear fiber are investigated within 1200-2400 nm band. An ultracompact tunable short-wave infrared source was constructed to demonstrate efficient nonlinear conversion from 1.26 to 2.2¿m.
