Abstract :
An integrated two-wire ratio-frequency converter is presented for use as a remote signal conditioner for sensor bridges such as strain-gauges or temperature-sensing bridges. The converter has a center frequency of 10 kHz and a sensitivity of 1 Hz per 10¿6 variation in relative bridge output. The instability is less than 10¿4 per degree Centigrade and per 1 V supply-voltage variation.
