  • Abstract
    A very low drop voltage regulator with a new vertical (collector insulated) power PNP transistor is presented. An antisaturation circuit prevents the current peak at the start-up of the device. A zener-zap trimmed reference makes possible a ± 1% output voltage tolerance.
