Abstract :
A switched-current algorithmic DA converter is discussed. The circuit is implemented in 2.4¿m CMOS process and consumes less than 1 mW at 5V. Measured performances are 11-b precision at 50 kSamples/s or 8-b at 500 kSamples/s and a nonlinearity less than 0.5LSB. The third harmonic component is 120dB down from the fundamental.
