  • Abstract
    A new IC for PCM transcoding and remote metering generation is presented in this paper. This LSI does transcoding from/to 13 bit linear to/from A or ¿-law 8 bit PCM, for 32 channels and the generation of teletax signals. This device has been processed using an advanced 3 ¿m n-well CMOS technology.
