Abstract
This paper presents SCADS, a flexible automated design and synthesis system for Switched-Current (SI) filters integrated in a major VLSI design suite. This allows the non-specialist to produce analogue filters, capable of operating at very high performance levels, embedded in CMOS ICs fabricated using standard digital processes. Examples of complete, automatically generated filters have been fabricated and tested successfully.
