  • Abstract
A new generation of focal plan array has been developed for low cost infrared applications. The Infrared detection uses the pyroelectric effect in a copolymer and its specific technology is stacked on an industrial CMOS readout technology. For this feasibility demonstration, readout circuit design is low complexity (32*32) and low density (100 ¿m pitch). A summary of characterization results such as input noise, fixed pattern noise and detection sensitivity is discussed.
