Abstract :
Nowadays, a lot of urban traffic problems are caused by unreasonable construction of large-scale urban projects. So, in order to avoid the impact of large-scale projects on the key traffic of cities, the traffic impact analyses (TIA) of them are essential. This paper gives a GIS-based analytical framework which is different from the current TIA technology and a GIS system design supporting TIA. It also expatiates on data acquisition, data analysis, database design, systems functional design and others.
