Abstract
A bandwidth allocation algorithm based on multi- coalition game (BAMCG) is proposed to address the problem of bandwidth competition in wireless sensor networks. Through establishing utility function of node and coalition, a coalition with multiple nodes which are in the same communication range is formed to increase network utility, the bandwidth assigned to nodes within the coalition is implemented based on benefit equilibrium according to their bids, congestion states and reputations. The simulation results show that the proposed method can bring more benefit, improve network throughput and have higher fairness.
