Abstract :
The urban public logistics information platform will integrate various logistics resources of the city effectively, improve the logistics operation efficiency, and reduce the cost, enhance the integral competitiveness, and thus further advance the integral function and benefit of the logistics system. The paper has analyzed the demand characteristics, main types and contents of the urban public logistics information, analyzed the requirements and data exchange mode of the logistics information platform. Basing on these analyses, it has put forward the main modules and structure of the design of the urban public logistics information platform, and carried out instance study by taking the design of public logistics information platform of Zhanjiang for example, as may provide some reference for the designing of the urban public logistics information platform of other cities.
