Abstract :
One of the many advantages of Social Simulation is that it helps to experience a social problem while avoiding unnecessary costs and possible dangers. A good example is the use of simulation in the urban growth of a city. Today there are applications where the simulators are applied with different tools and growth models. This article offers a methodology using distributed agencies, cellular automatons and dynamic systems, to shape social processes through time. Finally, a review of some advances in this methodology is presented.
