Modeling and decision support is very important to improve the basic research skill to undergraduate students in universities in China. However, undergraduate students are poor with their research skills, but they are good at their learning skills. Schema theory is applied into modeling and decision support teaching to help students improve their research skills. Two separated classes are selected to do experiment. The class with schema theory teaching has got a good teaching effect.
