This paper investigates ICT-related statistics and penetration rates during the aforementioned period. Results from the inquiry were that Internet, mobile phone usage and fixed telephone usage are directly related to population size in the Middle East. This paper ventured to present an exhaustive appraisal of the extent of ICT penetration in Iran.
