  • Abstract
    A PSK space-time receiver based on beam diversity technology is proposed. The receiver combined the adaptive beam forming technology based on training sequence with multi-channel equalizer. Channel estimation method is used to obtain the current multi-path structure. Then a set of beams pointing to different incident directions of multi-path signals are formed in order to obtain the SNR gain and decrease ISI. Then space diversity method is used to combine the outputs of these beams, and the diversity gain is finally obtained. Simulation results with a 12-element array show that: in the case of complex multi-path channel structure, JPAM receiver get 3-4dB SNR gain compared to the PSK receiver which only used the adaptive beamforming technology.
