Abstract
Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.
The presenting author of this paper has the option to appeal this decision by contacting TPII@ieee.org.
The joint flexibility is an important issue in the conceptual design of car bodies. In the paper, semi-rigid connection is used to represent the compliant behavior of multi-branch flexible joints. The simplified joint model is established based on rigid beams and semi-rigid connection. And we adopt compliance method to solve the parameters of the model. Numerical example proved the accuracy of the model by taking Joint B as an example.
