After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.

The explosion of new web services, such as `blogs´ have penetrated into the field of distance education in China. It has aroused much interests and applications. It´s finally beginning to resemble a truly interactive learning tool, overcoming some shortcomings in traditional distance education. Some benefits and limitations are discussed in this article.
