Abstract :
In the fields of residential security patrolling, traffic patrolling, traditional manual methods were used, these technologies and management tools are seriously lagging behind, lacking of an improvement to the technical means and equipment, and it is incompatible with the status of national economic development. Patrolling management of these areas urgently needs for new types of electronic patrolling techniques and equipment. This paper describes a patrolling system, using of GPS technology, wireless data communication technology, consisting of portable GPS devices, data network communication systems and information management system components. Inspection staffs wear specially designed portable GPS device to receive the local GPS information, upload GPS data or alarm signals to information management center through wireless data communication module -RFC33A module, received data were displayed on the electronic map, achieving real-time electronic inspection of the management.
