Composite stiffened panels are frequently used in aerospace applications. This paper mainly focuses on the buckling behavior of hat stiffened composite panels subjected to uniaxial compression. Parametric analysis model was constructed for typical hat stiffened composite panels through p version finite element approach. Effects of characteristic geometrical parameters on the buckling behavior of hat stiffened composite panels were discussed; several rules and curves were obtained based on the analysis, which will benefit the design of hat stiffened composite panels.
