Abstract :
As flexibility and stability become key success factors of a competitive software enterprise, the ability to support the life-cycle decision making of software scheduling, and quality evaluation becomes a critical issue. This research presents a rule-based knowledge system to addresses how software engineering knowledge can be dynamically represented and efficiently utilized in software quality evaluation. This system, called Intelligent Software Quality Evaluation Support System, is designed and implemented using the rule-based inference and reasoning approach. A further analysis about the implementary strategy of ISQESS is applied. Finally, a case study is shown to elaborate how the system is operated.
