  • Abstract
How to defense the cascading failure and reduce the cost has become a hot topic in recent years. In this paper, we investigate the cascading failures caused by attacking on edges. A new fault-tolerant capacity model is proposed to resist the cascading failures triggered by an intentional removal of the edges with the lowest loads and a new measurement is put forward to quantify the effectiveness of our model. Comparing with other models previously reported, our proposed model can simultaneously reduce the size of the cascades and cut down the cost.
