Abstract :
On noticing that many enterprises suffer great losses in the financial crisis which mainly imputed to be bad results of unsolicited credit, we concluded that there is a deficiency in financial forecast system which is derived from the shortcoming of data model in the MIS. Today´s MIS is built on the traditional data model which could not show the stockholders the future information of their enterprise´s operating. So we made efforts to find a new data model to redraw the schema of business database. And we have already got a few achievements in semantic modeling for risk-oriented financial data. Further analysis on requirements for data about future and temporal attribute of business information produces our new improvements in concepts of the future financial data. This paper introduces our recent work and presents a the novel concepts of risk data in business which is the key foundation stone of our innovative model, this is, the risk-oriented financial data conceptual model, namely, the ROFD model. This paper firstly discusses the user requirements for risk information in general; secondly analyzes the time attribute of business information; thirdly proposes the concept of risk data; finally puts up the ROFD model.
