Pesticide Pollution to Water Environment of Three Gorges Reservoir Area

Pesticides used in agriculture are the most widespread method for pest control all over the world. It is difficult to imagine the levels and security of agricultural yields without synthetic pesticides. However, the irrational use of pesticides has led to serious problems to environment and human health by means of water pollution. Pesticides contribute much to nonpoint source water pollution in Three Gorges Reservoir area. So measures should be taken to protect water environment of Three Gorges Reservoir from pesticide pollution.
