Abstract :
The development of information service industry in rural area can effectively promote the rural economic growth, But there still exists many serious problems among the supply and the demand of information service in rural area. There have been some researches about the information service in rural areas. However, most existing researches are aimed at the demand of information service in rural areas rather than the supply. This paper mainly discusses the supply of information service in rural area, due to the consideration that the supply is very important for solving the problem of dislocation between supply and demand and accelerating information service market in rural areas. Author surveyed 115 Telecom value-added service enterprises in Chongqing, extract six factors from the sample of 115 questionnaire by groping factor analysis (CFA), and test the reliability and validity for the questionnaire. Based on this analysis, author find out the primary reasons to restrain the enterprise providing information service in rural areas, and make some suggestions for government to formulate policies of promoting the supply of information service in rural areas.
