Abstract :
The wavelength utilization can be improved by TDM technology in WDM optical networks. In this paper, the dynamic routing, wavelength and timeslot problem is studied. We propose a new algorithm MCSA which based on the most-continuous-same-available resources and its performances is evaluated through simulation. The results show that the MCSA algorithm can effectively reduce the connection blocking probability and optimize the resource utilization of WDM-TDM optical network.
