Abstract :
In order to obtain proper parameters of contour design of streamlined metro train head, Computation models of contour design are established in this paper. By introducing 3D turbulent Navier -Stokes equation and sliding grid technology, the difference of the distributing of flow outfield and the aerodynamic parameters among these models are analyzed and compared, Empirical results show the relationships of different contours and different running states. Therefore, numerical calculation of aerodynamic characteristics of metro train head provides theoretical foundation for the development of metro train contour design.
