Abstract
In this paper, a joint parameters estimation problem in the multipath environment was studied. In the view of the drawback what the classic ESPRIT algorithm does not fully utilize the information provided by channel response matrix, so a joint estimation method based on the eigenvalues and eigenvectors was put forward. This algorithm estimates the delay and angle for only one eigenvalues decomposition. Thus it takes full advantage of the matrix information and makes the accuracy better. Simulation results show that this new algorithm is valid.
