            Abstract : 
3D stand-up metamaterial with purely magnetic resonance at THz frequencies was demonstrated and characterized. The successful design, fabrication and characterization of 3D metamaterials provides a new pathway for implementing novel electromagnetic properties at terahertz frequencies.
