Abstract :
The thirteen articles in this special section are devoted to mobile multimedia communications with a focus on green-based services. The objective of this special section is to cover the most recent research and development on the enabling technologies for green mobile multimedia communications and to stimulate discussions on state-of-the-art and innovative aspects in the field.
