Abstract :
Subwavelength hybrid plasmonic waveguides, s-bends and power splitters are demonstrated on an SOI platform. A long plasmonic waveguide propagation length of 40µm and highly efficient coupling to Si photonic waveguides were achieved using simple tapers.
