Abstract :
Quantum Positioning System is a high security and precision positioning system. This paper introduces the characteristics of the QPS signals transmission in atmosphere channel. According to the channel model, energy attenuation of the QPS signals propagation in atmosphere channel is studied and the calculating formula is given, the simulation to quantum signals attenuation has been made with different wavelengths at different transmission paths on several atmospheric conditions, and the effects of channel attenuation to QPS are analyzed. The results show that it is feasible for QPS using satellites. The results of this paper can provide a good theoretical basis for the establishment of QPS based on satellites.
