Abstract :
In this paper, we present a test-bench which eliminates the coaxial cable perturbations in the miniature antenna radiation pattern characterization. The key component of this test-bench is a low cost, 10 GHz bandwidth optical to RF converter. The test-bench is constituted of a plastic package with a small battery supply. The proposed test-bench is firstly validated then its performances are compared to other existing measurement methods and antenna simulation results.
