Abstract :
The computer performance evaluation of the Vehicle to Vehicle and Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2X) communication system is an important preliminary step before its integration into vehicles and thus a possible large-scale deployment. As for most wireless systems, the propagation channel modeling plays an essential role for a proper evaluation. In this paper, we present simulation results of the V2X receiver while employing some of the channel models available in the literature. After a brief comparison, we will highlight the different propagation channel parameters that influence the most the performance of the system´s physical layer.
