Abstract
In order to evaluate the interference level for frequency sharing in the microwave band, conducting propagation studies in a low altitude atmospheric layer is important. In this paper, a long distance propagation test in a coastal area is performed and the enhancement is evaluated using an existing estimation method. Diurnal characteristics of the interference level are also described. The propagation mechanism is also studied and a method to evaluate the effect of irregular reflection is presented.
