Abstract :
This work describes campaigns of measurements of propagation channel characteristics for Terrestrial Digital TV, carried on the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Caracas, Venezuela. Measurements of propagation loss obtained from these experiment are compared with predictions using the ITU-R Recommendation P.1546–3 method. Measured multipath time delay profiles for LOS and NLOS reception are also presented.
