Abstract :
Two integrated antenna array prototypes are presented for 60 GHz radios in LTCC technology. The linearly-polarized prototype is a grid array antenna in a ball grid array package. It provides an elegant solution for the future single-package 60 GHz radio. The circularly-polarized prototype is a 4 × 4 patch array integrated with a LNA. It forms an active 60 GHz receiving antenna. Both prototypes are tested and performances are presented.
