Abstract :
Ocean environmental information is large amount of data, and the processing algorithm is complex which needs high performance computing environment. This paper bases on 1 Sun 450 server, 5 Dell graphics workstations and fast Ethernet, probes into the construction of heterogeneous platform parallel virtual machine which processes the satellite remote sensing information of oceanic environment, by using the computer cluster technology and the PVM technology.
