Abstract :
The mathematical model between the knife-carriage feeding speed and the diameter of the log is established. An automatic control system of hydraulic log-core veneer lathe based on C8051F020 is studied in this paper, C8051F020 is used to control the hydraulic system feeding. The displacement sensor is used to measure and feed back the diameter of the log, the control system automatically regulates the feed-in flow of the hydraulic system through the solenoid-operated proportional flow valve, the cutter is continuously feeding with variable speed. The result shows that the precision of the working veneer, the working efficiency and the lifetime of the Log-core veneer Lathe can be highly improved.
