Abstract :
Aiming at the location technique with three geostationary satellites, this paper firstly introduces its basic positioning principle, and gives the positioning equation. Then this paper analyses the positioning error sources, and deduces its´ positioning error distribution model. At last, the positioning error characteristic of passive three satellites positioning system is simulated and analyzed, thus the error distributing characteristic is exploded. The experimental results show that during this system´s service region, the positioning error between north and south will increase with the decrease of latitude, and the positioning error between east and west is not affected by latitude on the whole and reaches least in the mid-longitude during the service region.
